Whether your lips have lost their natural pigment over time, you’ve always had uneven tone, or you simply want a more defined shape without relying on makeup, lip blush offers a long-lasting solution tailored entirely to you.
Using advanced cosmetic tattooing techniques and high-quality pigments, our artists gently deposit soft colour into the lips to enhance your natural tone, improve symmetry, and define the lip border. The result is beautifully crafted – never overdone, always intentional, and tailored entirely to your colouring and desired outcome.
This treatment is for anyone seeking a refined, naturally coloured lip with lasting results. Whether you’re looking to restore lost pigment, correct uneven tone, or simply enhance what you already have — lip blush delivers a personalised outcome you can wake up with every day.
Using a fine needle machine, soft pigment is precisely deposited into the surface layer of the lips to enhance natural tone, correct pigmentation, and add subtle definition. Results are buildable and fully customised to your preference — from a barely-there tint to a more defined finish. Healing takes 5 to 7 days, with full results settling at 4 to 6 weeks. Results last 2 to 3 years.

the process
Step 1: Consultation & Booking
Reach out to discuss your goals and secure your appointment. We take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for before your treatment begins.
Step 2: Your Treatment
On the day, your artist will assess your lip shape and natural colouring, guide you through pigment selection, and apply numbing cream before beginning. The treatment takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours in a calm, comfortable environment.
Step 3: Heal & Perfect
Your lips will heal over 5 to 7 days. At 6 to 8 weeks, you’ll return for your perfecting touch-up — where we refine colour and shape once fully settled. That is your final, lasting result.

Most clients find the experience far more comfortable than anticipated. Topical numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment, minimising sensation throughout. The lips are a sensitive area, so some tenderness is normal — however, this does not prevent you from resuming your day immediately after. Learn more about the healing process here
Results typically last 2 to 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Drier skin tends to retain pigment longer, while sun exposure and oily skin can contribute to faster fading. An annual colour refresh helps maintain your result between appointments. Learn more about the healing process here
Absolutely. Pigment is carefully matched to your natural lip tone and built up gradually during the treatment. Our goal is always a result that looks like your lips — just enhanced. Never harsh, never overdone.
Immediately after treatment, your lips will appear noticeably darker and may be slightly swollen — this is completely normal. Between days 3 and 5, some peeling occurs and the colour lightens considerably. By the end of the first week, your lips will look much softer, with full colour settling at 4 to 6 weeks.
Yes. During your consultation, your artist will work through colour options suited to your skin tone and personal preference. We typically recommend shades that complement your natural tone for the most flattering, wearable outcome.
Lip blush enhances colour and definition — it does not alter the volume or size of your lips. Lip filler adds volume through injectable hyaluronic acid. The two treatments are distinct and can complement one another beautifully when planned appropriately.
Avoid retinol and active skincare around the lip area for at least one week prior. Lip filler should be avoided within 4 weeks of your treatment. Stay well hydrated and avoid alcohol in the 24 hours beforehand. If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend speaking with your GP about antiviral medication before booking.
Lip blush is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for clients currently taking Roaccutane. Those with autoimmune conditions or who take blood thinners should consult their GP prior to booking. Active cold sores or very recent lip filler will also need to be discussed before we proceed.
Skin absorbs pigment differently across the lips, meaning some areas may heal lighter than others. The perfecting touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks allows your artist to even out the colour, refine the shape, and ensure you are completely satisfied with your result. This appointment is included as part of your treatment.
